Let's sample some Country 2-Step and make some friends!
Casual, playful, and country to the max, the 2-Step is one of the best social dances to have in your pocket!
If you've never danced 2-Step before, don't worry—I'll show you the ropes from the ground up. If you have done it before, I always layer in technique as I teach, so you'll have plenty to focus on.
After the workshop, we'll take the party over to the Londoner, and continue the fun!

What to Wear:
Clothing:
There's no formal dress code, but wear something you feel comfortable moving in! Women often wear t-shirts and jeans, jean shorts, or sometimes "country style" dresses. (If the skirt flares, or is extra short, I recommend shorts underneath!) Men usually wear t-shirts and jeans—and sometimes cowboy hats! Dress up if you like, no pressure if you don't!
Shoes:
Cowboy boots are the traditional option, but suede dance boots are common, as are ballroom practice shoes. If you don't have any of those things, smooth-soled shoes are best. Comfortable dress shoes often work well for men, but something like keds is a pretty good option.
Avoid: Anything with heavy tread, flip flops, sandals, stilettos, slingbacks, and platforms.
