Join our traditional Waltz class every Monday at 7pm, currently hosting a single beginner level class. Meet new friends and experience the beauty and elegance of this timeless dance.
Starting January, we will only have Intermediate Waltz from 6pm to 7pm.
What is Traditional Waltz Dancing?
The Traditional Waltz, often known as the Slow Waltz, is a classic dance characterized by its graceful movements and elegant flow. Originating in the early 19th century, this dance form features a slow, melodic tempo and smooth, gliding steps. The Traditional Waltz is danced in a closed position, with partners holding each other closely, moving harmoniously across the dance floor. Its signature 3/4 time signature and emphasis on rise and fall create a sense of floating, making it a favorite for weddings and formal events. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer, the Traditional Waltz offers a wonderful opportunity to refine your technique and enjoy the timeless beauty of ballroom dance.
