No membership fees, no pressure. Just fun, welcoming events where you can connect naturally. From dance classes and game nights to hikes and creative workshops, we bring people together in a way that actually works.

Our Story
DFW Young & Social started in 2021 with a simple goal: making friends shouldn’t be this hard.
Alexi, our co-founder, started hosting casual meetups designed to make meeting people feel easy and natural. A few months later, I (Marco) joined in, and we expanded into dance classes, creative workshops, game nights, and outdoor adventures.
The idea took off. By mid 2023, we had grown to over 3,000 members, and we launched our Discord community, giving members a way to stay connected beyond events.
Then in March 2024, we made a huge leap, we opened our own 4,720 sq ft venue to give our community a home. No more hopping between studios, no more scrambling for space. We needed room to grow, experiment, and create something lasting.
Today, our reach spans across multiple platforms, with over 30,000 members across Meetup, Facebook, Discord, and beyond. While we don’t know how many are active at any given time, what we do know is that every day, people show up to try something new, meet someone new, and be part of something bigger.
The wildest part? It’s just the two of us making it all happen. No big team, no corporate backing, just two people passionate about building something real. Maybe one day we’ll have a team of volunteers to help keep things running, but for now, DFW Young & Social is built on heart, hustle, and the belief that community should be accessible to everyone.

Create Real Connections
Making friends shouldn’t be complicated. We believe that real connection happens when people feel comfortable, welcome, and free to be themselves. That’s why we design every event, whether it’s a dance class, board game night, or creative workshop. To feel natural, pressure-free, and open to everyone. There’s no membership fee, no exclusivity, just experiences that bring people together.

Come As You Are
You don’t need to be an expert dancer, the most outgoing person in the room, or someone who “knows the right people” to fit in. Everyone is welcome here, but respect is non-negotiable. Clear boundaries and Kindness matters, because a great community starts with creating spaces where people feel safe, included, and free to be themselves. Without pressure, judgment, or expectation.

We believe in staying humble, appreciating the moments that bring people together, and always finding ways to grow. Every event and conversation is an opportunity to connect, learn, and build something meaningful. Challenges will come, but we face them with optimism and a commitment to moving forward.
