Are you ready to swing dance your socks off—and make new friends while doing it!?
East Coast Swing (beginner level) is an energetic, playful dance, often danced to pop hits and classic rock. If you've never tried it before, don't worry—I'll show you the ropes from the ground up. If you have done it before, I always layer in technique as I teach, so you'll have plenty to focus on.
Lindy Hop (intermediate level) is the original Swing—energetic, fun, and just plain cool. It's also quite popular! It's a more challenging dance to learn, so we recommend you get comfortable with East Coast Swing first!
You don’t have to bring a partner! We rotate throughout the classes, so everyone gets plenty of opportunities to dance and meet new people.
***We have TWO levels now—see below!***
Beginner Level: East Coast Swing (7:00pm):
If you're new to swing, or if you don't feel confident about your steps yet, don't worry—this class is designed so that you can drop in comfortably even if you haven't joined us before. Each class covers a rotating selection of moves from week to week, and it's all beginner friendly!
Intermediate Level: Lindy Hop (6:00pm):
Ready for a challenge? Come learn Lindy Hop! Lindy Hop has a sharper learning curve than East Coast Swing, so we strongly recommend you have a firm understanding of triple steps in multiple directions, rock steps, and how to lead and follow a variety of patterns in East Coast Swing, before joining this class. However, you do not need to have prior experience with Lindy Hop!
All new people dancing the follower's role and rotating partners get 50% off their first class. Purchase must be made in person during check-in.
Important Info:
Cost: $12 per person, per class, or $20 for both***

Please use our discord server for all day of event communications and also to find us if you're running late! Just a reminder, though, that reception isn't guaranteed, and we try to be present with everyone while the event is running (e.g, we won't be on our phones constantly.)
What to Wear:
Clothing:
There's no formal dress code, but wear something you feel comfortable moving in! Women often wear blouses and slacks, or dresses (if the skirt flares, or is extra short, I recommend shorts underneath!) Men often wear button-downs and slacks. Dress up if you like, no pressure if you don't!
Shoes:
Smooth-soled shoes are best. Comfortable dress shoes often work well for men, but something like keds is a pretty good option. Women often wear heels; however, unless it has an ankle strap and sturdy heel, I wouldn't recommend it. Character shoes are perfect!
Avoid:
Anything with heavy tread, flip flops, sandals, stilettos, slingbacks, and platforms.
