Let's sample some Argentine Tango and make some friends!
Argentine Tango is one of my favorite dances to teach: Sultry, subtle, and just plain cool. If you've never done it before, don't worry—I'll show you the ropes from the ground up. If you have done it before, I always layer in technique as I teach, so you'll have plenty to focus on.
You don’t have to bring a partner! We rotate throughout the class, so everyone gets plenty of opportunities to dance and meet new people.
After the workshop, we'll take the party over to the Londoner, and continue the fun!

What to Wear:
Clothing:
No specific dress code for the workshop! Wear something you are comfortable moving in. However, Tango in general favors dark colors (black, dark purple, burgundy, etc) and can be pretty formal, with slacks and dress shirts for men, and cocktail dresses (usually falling between knee height and ankle height) for women.
Shoes:
Smooth-soled shoes are best. Comfortable dress shoes often work well for men, but something like keds is a pretty good option. Women often wear heels; however, unless it has an ankle strap, I wouldn't recommend it.
Avoid: Anything with heavy tread, flip flops, sandals, stilettos, slingbacks, and platforms.
