Update everyone, Studio 22 has just informed us that:


Studio 22 Staff - “Due to a high heat index in Dallas we will just do the social 8pm-10pm without the class so we can get the most out of dancing at the park. Make sure to hydrate and we will see you all tonight.”


We are adjusting the time to 8pm-10pm and we will personally try to get there at 7:30.

The sun is shining. The flowers are blooming. Springtime is here—and that means it's Salsa season!

Once a month in the spring and summer, Klyde Warren Park hosts a free outdoor Salsa night! (I think. they also play Bachata!)

Let's go join the fun!

Event Schedule:
6:00 - 6:45 PM: Intro Salsa class with Studio 22
6:45 - 10:00 PM: Social Dancing

- Class will be held on the main stage [Muse Family Performance Pavillion], facing the lawn.
- Stage is smooth concrete (~40' x 50'), so we recommend wearing shoes with a smooth bottom.

What to Wear:

Clothing: 'It will most likely be HOT. Wear something cool that you're comfortable moving (and sweating!) in!

Shoes: The stage is smooth concrete. Shoes with a smooth bottom are good, but fair warning—do NOT wear your suede dance shoes! If it's possible to get any shock absorption in your shoes without adding grip, that's also good.

What to Bring:

• Water!!!

• Sunscreen

• A change of shirt

• A towel (for sweat)

Parking Tips:

- Metered parking on most streets around the park. (Cash / some take card). Parking on the service road, and the north and south sides of the park is free.
- Paid parking: $5 - $15/day in multiple locations (see link for details)
