Ready for a refreshing dose of nature? Join us for a morning hike at Lake Grapevine Horseshoe Trail for a morning of fresh air, exercise, and good company!

After, for anyone who wants to refuel, we'll gather after the hike at Big Daddy's Ship Store just up the road. Big Daddy's is known for its lakeside views, delicious burgers, fried catfish, and relaxed, local experience. Try out their fried gouda or their made-from-scratch french fries—or one of their many salads for a lighter option!

Animal lover? After the meal, you can buy duck food and make friends with the waterfowl!

Part 1: The Hike

TRAIL INFORMATION: This trail is considered to be a moderate-difficulty hiking trail, largely tree-shaded. That said, please understand this is a walk-at-your-own-risk trail—if you get hurt or lost it is your responsibility to get yourself where you need to be. For more info about the trail, click here.

We will meet in the parking lot off of Dove Road at 10:00 am. The estimated hiking time is 1.5 - 2 hours!

We recommend you bring the following!

• Shoes with good grip

• Plenty of water

• sunscreen

• a hat/sunglasses
