Ready for an invigorating dose of nature and a hearty appetite for adventure? Join us on October 1st for a rejuvenating morning hike at Cedar Ridge Preserve, where we'll immerse ourselves in the great outdoors, get some exercise, and enjoy the splendid company of fellow nature enthusiasts!
Part 1: The Hike
Lace-up your hiking boots because we're hitting the Cedar Ridge Outer Loop Trail for a 2 to 2.5-hour easy/moderate adventure. This route covers Praire, Bluebonnet, Escarpment, Fossil Valley, Possumhaw, and Cedar Brake trails, allowing you to explore almost all the wonders Cedar Ridge has to offer. As a walk-at-your-own-risk trail, it's essential to be cautious and responsible during the hike. Make sure to bring comfy shoes and plenty of water.
We'll meet at Cedar Ridge Trailhead Parking Lot near the trail entrance at 10:00am with a 15 grace period for people to show up.
Part 2: Post-Hike Gathering
We'll determine the location either at a later date or on the event day to ensure we locate a venue that can accommodate large groups without reservations.
We can't wait to welcome you to our adventurous community! See you at the trailhead!
