In partnership with the Swinging on a Star, our gathering will feature an electric Bachata lesson by Alexi from DFW Young & Social, and the marvelous Roy Plutchik. Whether you're a seasoned Bachata dancer or just starting out, this event promises to be an unforgettable evening of music and dance.

Bachata Lesson: 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Open Dance Session: 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Please note that Swinging on a Star boasts a dedicated group of approximately 20 vibrant young adults who participate monthly, contributing to an attendance beyond the scope of RSVP numbers.

We encourage you to dress up as fancy as you feel comfortable. No worries if you rather be casual, there's absolutely no pressure. Come as you are; the most important thing is to join us for a night of rhythmic enchantment.

Opt for smooth-soled shoes to ensure seamless moves on the dance floor. Men often find comfortable dress shoes to be ideal, while shoes like keds work well for many. As for women, heels are common, but make sure they have an ankle strap for stability. On the other hand, avoid footwear with heavy treads, flip flops, sandals, stilettos, slingbacks, and platforms, to ensure a hassle-free dancing experience.
