Meet Michael, our outstanding member of the month.

With an innate love for the outdoors, he dreams of embarking on a cross-country road trip to explore the natural wonders of the US National Parks. In his quieter moments, Michael delves into thought-provoking literature such as "Meditations" by Marcus Aurelius, stating that he likes the concept of not being able to control the events that happen, but the response and feelings to those events are controllable.

We asked Michael what his favorite event was so far, and he shared that the lively energy of the Salsa in the Park night was the most memorable. That day was a true testament of dedication to Salsa as the weather was above 100 degrees. Away from hustle and bustle, Michael finds peace in tending to his garden and exploring the culinary arts, embracing the farm-to-table philosophy that adds a special touch to his meals.

Guided by the values instilled by his grandmother, Michael embodies patience and kindness, leaving a positive impact on the community. His favorite motto,

"A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in,"

speaks to his dedication to leaving a meaningful legacy for future generations.
